LAZY VERISION
Use a chopper to chop all the veggies, meat and cheese.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Dairy free: omit the provolone and cheese crisps. Substitute the greek yogurt for mayonnaise.
Want more carbs? Serve this salad on a wrap!
Sub for tomatoes: red bell pepper
Sub for iceberg lettuce: romaine lettuce
Sub for red onion: any onion or omit
Sub for banana peppers: black olives
STORAGE
Allow everything to come to room temp and then store in airtight containers in the fridge. I like using these containers to keep the meat and cheese separate from the veggies.
Store the dressing separately- I like using these containers.
REHEATING
No reheating needed for this lunch!
REDUCE FOOD WASTE
Leftover onion? Save it! Store it in a ziploc bag and use it in a recipe next week.
Leftover lettuce and tomatoes? If you’re following this week’s meal plan, add them as a topping onto the Philly Cheesesteak Bowls. If not, use them in a salad or as a topping for tacos!
Leftover provolone cheese? Use in the Philly Cheesesteak Bowls!
