Ground Beef Lo Mein

Who doesn’t love some saucy noods??? These are so flavorful, a little spicy, a little sweet and a lot delicious- you’re going to love them. Lo Mein is one of my favorites when we get takeout, so I made it lighter, gluten free, high protein and veggie packed. The best part is it only takes 30 minutes to make.

Notes

LAZY VERISION

  • Use pre sliced bell pepper and pre chopped onion

SUBSTITUTIONS

  • Sub for green onion: any onion, about 1/4 cup chopped

  • Sub for ground beef: ground turkey, ground pork

  • Sub for coconut aminos: low sodium soy sauce

  • Sub for honey: maple syrup

  • Sub for snow peas: sliced zucchini, green beans, mushrooms

  • You can add pretty much any veggies in you want!

STORAGE

  • Allow everything to come to room temp and then store in airtight containers in the fridge. I like using these containers.

REHEATING

  • Add about 1 tsp of water to the noodles. Reheat for 1-2 minutes, stirring halfway through.
