Notes

NOTES

  • Steps 1-4 can be done ahead of time.

LAZY VERSION

  • Use a store bought tzatziki instead of making the yogurt sauce

KID FRIENDLY VERSION

  • Make them regular turkey burgers! When mixing the ground turkey, add the salt, paprika, and minced garlic. Separate how much you want to make for your kids. Add the rest of the ingredients to the adult burgers (feta, spinach, dill). Serve them turkey burgers with cheese and whatever regular burger toppings they like. Serve the cucumber slices with ranch.

SUBSTITUTIONS

  • Spinach: can omit

  • Ground turkey: lean ground beef

  • Dairy free: use a dairy free tzatziki instead of the yogurt sauce, use chopped olives instead of feta

STORAGE

  • Any servings you aren’t going to eat immediately, just store the burgers and toppings separately in airtight containers.

REHEATING

  • Reheat the burgers in the microwave or on a skillet for 1-2 minutes. Add toppings.
