CAVA Chicken Bowls

I love CAVA so much, but somehow one bowl always ends up being like $20??? And with all the toppings and dressings, you can easily get close to 1000 calories in just one bowl. This copycat CAVA bowl is just as tasty, but way more budget and macro friendly. The light, refreshing flavors are perfect for the warming weather and the high protein will keep you on track for all of your fitness goals before pool season. The best part? It comes together in just 25 minutes!

Notes

NOTES

  • The nutrition facts include 1/2 oz feta per serving

  • If you don’t have an air fryer, you can cook the chicken in the oven. Just spray a baking sheet and add the chicken after toss with the sauce. Cook for about 15 minutes, until cooked through, then broil for 1 min.

LAZY VERSION

  • Use a microwave rice packet instead of making your own

SUBSTITUTIONS

  • Sub for dill: oregano, thyme or omit!

STORAGE

  • Allow everything to come to room temp and then store in airtight containers. I like using these containers to keep my veggies separate from the chicken and rice.

  • Store the yogurt dill sauce separately. I like using these containers.

REHEATING

  • Remove the chicken and rice from your meal prep container and add to a bowl. Heat for 1-2 minutes, stirring halfway through. Then add the veggies to the bowl and top everything with the yogurt dill sauce.
