Bang Bang Chicken Bowls

This recipe is a copycat of the Bang Bang shrimp from Bonefish Grill but way lighter and macro friendly. It's a little sweet, a little spicy and full of flavor! The fresh veggies make this meal so light and refreshing. Plus- it's so easy to make- the whole meal comes together in just 20 minutes.

Notes

NOTES

  • If you don’t have an air fryer, just cook the chicken on the stove top. Add to an oiled skillet and sear for 2 minutes on each side, stir until the chicken is cooked through.

LAZY VERSION

  • Use a microwaveable rice packet instead of making your own

SUBSTITUTIONS

  • You can use regular mayo instead of light mayo

  • Want less carbs? Swap the rice for cauliflower rice, or serve as lettuce wraps!

  • Sub for chicken breast: chicken thighs

STORAGE

  • Allow everything to come to room temp and then store in airtight containers. I like using these containers to keep my veggies separate from the chicken and rice.

  • Store the sauce separately. I like using these containers.
