Notes

SUBSTITUTIONS

  • Sub for red onion: any onion will work, or omit if you hate onions

  • Sub for Brussels sprouts: green beans, asparagus, broccoli

  • Sub for honey: maple syrup

  • Sub for sweet potato: cubed butternut squash

  • Whole30: omit the honey

STORAGE

  • Allow everything to come to room temp and then store in airtight containers in the fridge. I like using these containers.

  • Store the dressing separately- I like using these containers.

REHEATING

  • Remove the dressing container. Reheat for 1-2 minutes, stirring halfway through.

REDUCE FOOD WASTE

  • Leftover bacon? Save it! Put it in a ziploc bag sealed tightly and it will last for 5-7 days- just in time for a yummy weekend breakfast.

  • Leftover onion? Save it! Store it in a ziploc bag and use it in a recipe next week.
